NEWSBOOB

Newsboob is a news player I made for myself that does not track you, serve internet ads, or show “skip button”–style video ads. It is a player for international news in the style of the old-school internet.

Change channels with the right or left arrow. Up and down changes volume; Spacebar mutes. “C” closes or opens the channel drawer, “F” toggles full screen, and “R” reloads the video if it gets stuck. “S” starts the scan mode, which changes the channel at the interval shown in the upper right. Press “S” again to stop scanning. It is entirely open source and uses minimal HTML and JavaScript.

This service is free, legal, and not evil. I made it to escape the bubble with another bubble. I’m sharing so I won’t be the only one boobing out in front of it.
